Welcome to RECED Marketplace. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered. By accessing or using RECED Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RECED Marketplace, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms of Service
  • You have read and understood our Privacy Policy
  • You agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations
  • You are at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
  • If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organization, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms
2. User Responsibilities

As a user of RECED Marketplace, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information: All information you submit must be truthful, accurate, and up-to-date
  • Maintain account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account
  • Report unauthorized access: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Comply with laws: Follow all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations
  • Respect community guidelines: Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the values of the RCCG community
  • Keep contact information current: Maintain valid contact information for account-related communications
3. Account Registration

Account Types

RECED Marketplace offers two main account types:

  • Business Owner Account: For businesses seeking to list their services and connect with the RCCG community
  • Customer Account: For individuals seeking to discover and connect with verified businesses

Registration Requirements

When registering for an account, you must:

  • Provide a valid email address that you own and control
  • Create a secure password
  • Provide your full legal name
  • Agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy

Account Recovery

If you abandon the registration process, you may optionally consent to receive recovery emails containing secure links to resume your registration. This consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Know Your Business (KYB) Verification

Business Owner accounts must complete our KYB verification process to create listings. This process helps ensure the trustworthiness of businesses on our platform.

KYB Requirements

  • Complete a 5-step verification process
  • Provide accurate business information
  • Submit required documentation for verification
  • Obtain pastor verification from an RCCG pastor (optional but recommended)

Verification Status

Your verification status may be:

  • Pending: Verification is in progress
  • Approved: Verification completed successfully
  • Rejected: Verification was not successful (you may reapply)
  • Suspended: Verification suspended due to policy violations

Right to Deny or Revoke

We reserve the right to deny or revoke KYB verification at our sole discretion if we determine that information provided is false, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonating another person, business, or entity
  • Creating multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
  • Using the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users
  • Posting offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
  • Attempting to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas
  • Scraping, data mining, or automated collection of data without permission
  • Interfering with the proper functioning of the platform
  • Promoting or facilitating illegal goods or services
  • Violating intellectual property rights of others
  • Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or unauthorized advertising

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability

Platform Services

RECED Marketplace is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from the platform will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the platform will be corrected

Business Interactions

RECED Marketplace serves as a platform connecting users with businesses. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services offered by businesses
  • The accuracy of business information or listings
  • Disputes between users and businesses
  • Any damages arising from interactions with businesses

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RECED Marketplace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

7. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature (when available). Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for any reason including:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Failure to complete KYB verification within required timeframes
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Request from law enforcement or government agencies

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your business listings will be deactivated, and you will lose access to all features and data associated with your account. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we will provide notice through email or platform notification
  • Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of appropriate jurisdiction.
